When to apply for the academic season 2021/22
Here are the important dates that should not be missed at the three major universities for medical studies in Bulgaria:
- Last chance for admission for the Medical University Plovdiv is 3rd of September 2021. The last entry exam takes place on 8th September 2021, with earlier tests possible. All tests will be held online, just as in last year. The semester will officially start on 1st of Oktober 2021.
- Last chance for admission for the Medical University Sofia is on 08th of September 2021. Entry tests will be held on 11th of September only in Sofia (no remote-option). The final ranking will be published on 14. September, and the semester starts on 11. October 2021 (für First-semester students).
- Last chance for admission for the Medical University Varna: Last entry exam will take place on 04. September 2021 (Biology/Chemistry) – earlier tests are possible, and again all will be remote-only. Start of the semester: 1. October 2021 (tbd).
Last chance for admission for the Summer semester 2022
The Pleven University accepts applications as following:
- Deatline for applications: 01. October 2021, Entry tests will be held online only with tests ranging from August 2021 through January 2022.
Important: The application dealine is half a year before the semester starts!
